Fiber is the most cutting-edge way to get online. Fiber internet networks are made of thousands of fiber-optic cables that use pulses of light to send data back and forth.
How is fiber better than what I have?
Unlike DSL or copper cables, fiber networks can handle an incredible amount of data at much higher speeds. You’ll be able to connect more devices to the internet without noticing any dips in speed.
Does speed really matter?
Absolutely. The internet used to be mostly text, so it was easier to use on slow connections. But now, with things like online gaming and video streaming, you need a fast connection to keep up.
