Circle Fiber, a division of Big River Communications, has announced the start of its fiber to the premise build in Poplar Bluff and surrounding areas in Butler County.  Circle Fiber will build and deliver a 100% fiber network to the community.  This network will allow Poplar Bluff residential and business customers access to the latest technology available today and the platform for the future services.

“Our build in Poplar Bluff is an extension of our commitment to our customers in the Big River Communications service area”, stated Chris Simmons, President of Circle Fiber. “Circle will provide our existing and future customers with a state-of-the-art network that has been deployed in some major metropolitan areas on a limited basis but will be fully deployed in Poplar.  We know that this will help the community grow and provide the educational, business, medical, and residential market with this exciting new technology”.

Circle Fiber has started the construction.  Circle Fiber will offer three packages of services:

      •   One Gigabyte Symmetrical Product for $79.99 a month
      •   500 Megabyte Symmetrical Product at $59.99 a month
      •   300 Megabyte Symmetrical Product at $49.99 a month

Circle Fiber will offer the services without requiring a contract or data caps.

“We want our customers to want to do business with Circle Fiber because of our products and services and not because of a contract”, stated Kera Hoffman, Circle Fiber’s Account Executive for Poplar Bluff.  “I am from Poplar Bluff and know what we need to meet the needs of the community”.

“The City of Poplar Bluff welcomes Circle Fiber to the community.  Big River Communications has a long history of providing services to the city and the community.  Their investment in fiber with their Circle Fiber division, will be a big asset for the community and our growth”, stated Matt Winters, City Manager, Poplar Bluff.

The fiber build will take approximately 12 months to complete.
